Meet The Team
Maggie Ward
Our founder, Maggie Ward has enjoyed a career dedicated to multilingual learners (MLLs) and literacy, Maggie has led curriculum initiatives for nearly 50 districts nationwide. Her expertise spans the design of competency-based projects for VLACS while at the Center for Collaborative Education to her pivotal role with the Internationals Network, where she facilitated the launch of new schools for immigrant students. In these roles, she moved beyond theory to build the actual instructional visions and systems required to serve newcomers and striving readers.
Erik Wasmosy
Erik is our resident technology leader. He brings experience building high-performance, scalable software with a focus on AI engineering. Previously, he was a lead architect at Technology Development Paraguay, developing a mobile ecosystem for digital payments and transit tracking that now supports 400,000 active users and 3 million daily transactions. Erik holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Rochester specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs), bringing the full-stack agility required to move rapidly from prototype to enterprise-scale production.
